Gurudikshaam, was founded in 2011 by a Social entrepreneur, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, with a vision of a society with equality, prosperity & happiness. In search of a society, where every child goes to school, every young is educated, every woman is fearless, every man has equal opportunities and everyone has enough food and good health, we started making a team work over our dreams.
We started our journey with only 11 Members and a vision. On the road of our journey till now, instead of a team, we have gathered a beautiful family of more than 1000 people working with us directly or indirectly.
We achieved success in connecting to more than 10,000 lives. Our family holds every essence of the society. People of different ages, different work experiences, different cultures and different backgrounds, all working together to gain the best possible outcome.
Our Vision
As a prosperous part of society, we take it as our responsibility to work for the upbringing of the underprivileged or non-privileged part of society. Putting it to the simplest lines, our vision is:
Every child must have the opportunity to gain an education.
To enhance the quality of the education delivered.
Women Empowerment through education and awareness.
Every person has enough food and good health.
To save our environment and ensure good quality of water, air and soil for the coming generations.
To see a SMILE ON EVERY FACE.
Our Achievements
We understand that the dreams we are working for, are not so easy to come true. But we understand the fact, “Even a journey of 1000 miles, starts with one step”. We are taking our steps, let’s not count the journey that remains. We have successfully organized more than 100 Health Check-up camps in different parts of the country. We have reached more than 10,000 people to ensure good health in our society. To enhance the quality of education, we served more than 10 schools with different types of equipment like whiteboards, computers, and even materials like books, copies, pencils, etc. for non-privileged children. We have also organized tennis tournaments, drawing competitions, and other events to promote co-curricular activities among these children. We never know where the next M.F. Hussain or Sachin Tendulkar is coming from. Our initiatives like “Kapda Bank” and “Toys Drive” are remarkable in contributing directly to the needy ones in a materialistic manner. We have witnessed immense growth and success unimagined earlier under the supervision & guidance of our mentor, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma. It’s our team’s goal to provide the best opportunities to the under-privileged or unprivileged people in our world. We are able to acquire a remarkable place in many hearts across our journey so far.
